1. HORNIMAN CONCERT TOMORROW, SUNDAY 4th

I would like to remind the early guitar concert on this Sunday 4th May 3pm at Horniman Museum, London.There are slight change of the programme and now I am going to play Baroque guitar, English guitar(guittar) by Preston, Lyre guitar by Le Jeune and Vienna style claccical guitar by Hauser Sr. Pieces by Corbetta, Le Moine, Handel, Straube, Sor and others.I have heard there is some engineerring work going on the BR, so please check the way beforehands. I hope I can see you there!

2. ELIZABETHAN CONSORT-OF-SIX CONCERT, SUNDAY 11th MAY
A concert of music by Byrd, Morley, Allison and Bull, will be given by Loki Broken Concert [violin, flute, lute, cittern, bandora, cittern, bass], at Christ’s Chapel, Gallery Road, Dulwich, at 3pm, with poetry readings by actor Tom Daplyn.

The lute was the most important musical instrument of the renaissance. Here is a rare opportunity to hear Jakob Lindberg, one of the world's leading lutenists, play a wide range of music from renaissance Europe and Britain on a lute of the period, built c.1590 by Sixtus Rauwolf of Augsburg.
