The Society’s Committee had a short meeting ahead of the AGM later on.
Then it was a question of getting out some more chairs than usual because fourteen players came as well as three visitors.
Cornelius led the ensemble in tackling pieces to consider for our entry in the Reigate festival in May.

Over refreshments, dispensed by Kate, there was lively talk and the opportunity to renew past friendships.
David led our Annual General Meeting, together with main inputs from Cornelius and Tom.
The ensemble returned to playing Valse venezuelienne. The evening finished with a run through of the second movement of the Lute Concerto in D by Antonia Vivaldi. This is another piece we can consider as one for playing at Reigate Festival.
