The powerful winds of Storm Eunice on Friday had fortunately abated, enabling six of us to gather tonight. Cornelius led our ensemble-playing of Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto, concentrating on each section in turn. This was followed by more work learning Schindlers List.
After chat during the break for refreshments provided by Thomas and Kate, we relaxed listening to solos performed by

This session finished with tackling the sections of Classical Gas again, and then a quick run through the four dances from Alcina by Handel, before we packed up and headed for home. Our next session is on Saturday 19th March. See you then.
