Theatrical Baroque ensemble Incandescenza bring you courtesans, singers, passionate love poems exchanged between nuns - and who knew baking could be so subversive? Poignant, tender, witty and rebellious, the untold stories of Renaissance women come to life in a theatrical tapestry woven from texts from early modern Europe and music by Monteverdi and Barbara Strozzi.
