The quartet tackled their pieces in preparation for their Beckenham Festival entry. The ensemble worked on the three South American songs, Cancao, Faz Hoje Um Ano, and El Cachimbo arranged by Eythor Thorlaksson in three parts. After the break, during which David kindly dispensed tea, coffee and scrumptious biscuits, we settled back for a mini concert:

Then the ensemble came together to play through three of the pieces in the Connemara Suite.
Next meeting is on Sat 2nd November when it is planned that we play the following

- South American songs - Cancao; El Cachimbo; Faz Hoje Um Ano.
- Connemara Suite of Five Irish pieces
