The embryonic quartet tackled some pieces in preparation for their entry for the Beckenham Festival. With the rest of the members joining in, they worked on two of the Dances by Gervaise, Pavanne de la Guerre and Galliarde de la Guerre, and then From the Andes, an arrangement by John Whitworth of an Argentinian song.
Of course, refreshments were welcomed. Thanks again to Trevor.

South American songs, Cancao and Faz Hoje Um Ano, arranged by Eythor Thorlaksson in three parts, were the pieces the ensemble finished the evening with.
The next meeting on Sat 19th October is planned to include some of the following

- South American songs - Cancao; El Cachimbo; Faz Hoje Um Ano.
- From the Andes, arranged by John Whitworth.
- Candombe Mauresque by Jean-Michel Coquery.
- Gervaise Dances 7 and 8.
