There were seven of us for this evening's meeting. Ably led by David, we continued practising the wonderful pieces from the Connemara Suite (arranged for four guitars by Bruno Szordikowski, based on melodies of Turlogh O'Carolan) to help us improve listening to each other and playing together.
After a break for refreshment and exchange of news, we listened to solos performed by –

We finished the evening with Walking in the Air from Howard Blake’s The Snowman, in anticipation of next session’s theme.
To avoid clashing with Christmas, our next get-together will be held a week earlier in the month, on the 18th December. As well as playing some festive tunes, we will have a short meeting about plans for the next year - so more about that in due course.
