We were delighted to welcome two new players who had not been with us before and they joined in with our ensemble which numbered fourteen players.
Pieces the ensemble worked on were -

- Blues-Lament Raymond Love [written in memory of Norman Vaux]
While partaking of the refreshments, provided by David, we had the opportunity to talk with the newcomers, get to know them, and tell them about the Society.
Then we were beguiled by beautiful music of three solos and two duets -

The session finished with a long look at Bergamasca by Ottorino Respighi.
Society sessions are held on the third Saturday of the month, from 6.30 p.m. to start playing at 6.45.
