We had a very good showing at the BGS meeting this evening and were visited by Ray Love whom many guitarists will know from Beechwood days. We were rehearsing “Blues-Lament” which was written by Ray as a tribute to Norman Vaux, the founder of the Bromley Guitar Society, as a memoriam to him after his early death in 2004. Ray took us through the piece and was happy with our rendering of the music, after his expert guidance.
We also practised “ Stylin’ “ and “A Scottish Medley”, finishing the evening with “Ghostbusters”.
