BGS Meeting 21st July 2016

A very select number tonight. Just three of us met up. John had emailed three pieces for the Society to sight-read in his absence, so we had a go as a trio tackling the four part arrangements. We will be one step ahead of the ensemble when we play the pieces on 4th August when a larger number of players is expected. The pieces were – Ojos Azures, a Chilean folk song, and Sertanega, a Brazilian folk song, both arranged by Lee Sollory; and Schottisch by Franz Schubert.

We decided to leave for home early and not have a ‘tea break’.
